PREFACE

M ost tracking apps are functionally identical. They force you into rigid, gamified forms that reinforce a permanent identity. But there is no fixed self—only a stream of experience (Anitya).

Buddhism teaches us to dissolve the ego, to see that there is no permanent self. But it is nearly impossible to dissolve the ego when there is an audience. Even the possibility of a server forces you to perform.

Quanitya is a private, type-safe container that lets you build your own tracking templates.

This logbook is proof of that flux (Anitya). Observe the data arising and passing away, free from surveillance.

TEMPLATE TRACKER GENERATOR

Privacy

Quanitya uses private end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM) and anonymous authentication via public key (ECDSA P-256). We do not collect any personal identifier. Analytics, error reporting, and feedback are fully opt-in, default off, and anonymous. Everything is visible in your outbox before submission. You review, edit, or send.

Terms of Service

Quanitya is provided as-is, without warranty. Every feature works locally and offline at no cost. Cloud sync (subscription) and hosted LLM calls (usage-based) are optional paid services billed through Apple or Google — their refund and cancellation policies apply. You may also bring your own API key via OpenRouter or run models locally via Ollama at no charge. Your encryption key is your identity. We cannot access, read, or recover your data. If you lose your key, you lose your data and any entitlements tied to that account. You can export your full data as JSON at any time. Back it up — it is your responsibility. Do not use this service to harm others. We reserve the right to update these terms.
